Town Planner\n Location: London\n\nPenguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting a respected and growing planning consultancy in their search for a Town Planner to join their London office.\n\nThis is a great opportunity for a Town Planner to develop their career within a supportive consultancy environment, working on a diverse range of planning projects across residential, commercial and mixed use developments.\n\nThe Role\n\nAs a Town Planner, you will support the delivery of planning projects from early-stage advice through to determination and beyond.\n\nKey responsibilities include:\n\nPreparing and managing planning applications and supporting documents\n\nUndertaking site appraisals and planning research\n\nAssisting with appeals and Local Plan representations\n\nLiaising with local planning authorities, consultees and clients\n\nMonitoring planning policy and legislative changes\n\nSupporting senior planners on a variety of projects\n\nAbout You\n\nThe successful Town Planner will have:\n\nA degree or postgraduate qualification in Town Planning or a related subject\n\nExperience within a planning consultancy or local authority\n\nGood understanding of the UK planning system\n\nStrong written and verbal communication skills\n\nThe ability to work both independently and as part of a team\n\nA proactive and organised approach\n\nWhy Apply?\n\nThis Town Planner role offers the chance to join a well established London consultancy with excellent opportunities for professional development and progression.\n\nIf you are interested in this Town Planner position, please contact Joel Bland at Penguin Recruitment
