Job Description
Town Planner \nLondon \nA leading private planning consultancy in London is seeking a Town Planner to join their growing team. Acting on behalf of our client, we are looking for a motivated individual with a strong academic background and early career experience in the planning sector. \n \nAbout the Role \nThe successful candidate will support a wide range of planning projects, including residential, commercial and mixed-use developments.
Responsibilities will include preparing and managing planning applications, conducting research, assisting with appeals, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and contributing to the delivery of high-quality planning advice. \n \nCandidate Requirements \n·1-3 years of professional experience in town planning (public or private sector) \n·Strong understanding of UK planning policy and legislation \n·Excellent written and verbal communication skills \n·Confident engaging with clients, local authorities and project teams \n·A minimum of A & B grades at A-Level (or equivalent) - essential requirement \n·RTPI-accredited degree or working towards chartership \n \nWhat the Consultancy Offers \n·Competitive salary dependent on experience \n·Hybrid working and flexible arrangements \n·Structured professional development and RTPI support \n·Exposure to high-quality and high-profile London projects \n·Supportive working environment within a respected private consultancy \n \nIf you're an experienced Planner ready to step up into a senior level I'd love to chat.
