Job Title: Town Planner

Are you looking to take the next step in your planning career? This is an excellent opportunity to join an established independent planning consultancy in Central London, working across a portfolio of residential-led projects and strategic land. You'll be part of a supportive, collaborative team and benefit from a hybrid working model (3 days per week in the office).
About the Company
Our client is a respected independent planning consultancy specialising in small, medium, and high-profile development projects across the residential, retail, commercial, energy, healthcare, and education sectors. Their London office is growing, offering a fantastic environment for driven planners to broaden their expertise and contribute to high-quality development.
Qualifications & Experience:
·MRTPI qualified or actively working towards Chartership.
·Previous experience in a private consultancy or local authority planning role.
·Strong understanding of UK planning policy and development processes.
·Interest in residential development and strategic land planning.
·Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Role Overview:
Within this role, you will support and deliver a range of planning projects, including:
·Preparing and managing planning applications for residential schemes.
·Assisting with strategic land assessments and site promotion.
·Conducting research, policy reviews, and site appraisals.
·Drafting planning statements, appeals, and supporting documentation.
·Engaging with clients, local authorities, and wider project teams.
·Supporting senior colleagues on larger or more complex projects.
