A rare and exciting opportunity has emerged for a proactive Tool Room Supervisor to run an in‑house tooling facility for a leading injection-moulding manufacturer.
What You’ll Do
*Lead and manage a small team of skilled technicians and toolmakers, overseeing tool-related maintenance, turnaround schedules, and KPI targets across the production site.
*Provide hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for tooling, manufacturing, and engineering challenges.
*Coach, develop, and mentor your team—handling aspects like absences, training plans, and overtime coordination.
What You’ll Bring
*A minimum of 5 years’ experience as a toolmaker within a plastic manufacturing or injection-moulding environment.
*Completion of an apprenticeship in toolmaking—industry-qualified and ready to support tooling operations with confidence.
*Demonstrable success in leading or supervising small teams—ready to step into or continue a managerial role.
*A self-driven, adaptable attitude with excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer-focused skills.
