About Project Seymour
Project Seymour is an exciting new social-first editorial launch from Immediate Media (publishers of Good Food, BBC Gardeners' World, and Radio Times). Designed for a new generation of nature-curious audiences who want to spend more time outdoors, Seymour celebrates not just gardens but houseplants, outdoor entertaining, sustainability, and the joy of being outside - all through the lens of short-form video.
We're building something from scratch - and we're looking for a creative, data-savvy TikTok Channel Manager to help us grow this new brand from the ground up.
About the role
As our TikTok Channel Manager, you'll be the driving force behind our TikTok strategy and execution. You'll commission and collaborate with a network of content creators, edit and publish videos, and shape the channel's tone, visual identity and momentum. You'll live and breathe TikTok trends, constantly iterating based on performance to build a highly engaged community.
You'll already be experienced creating content and will have a proven record of building an engaged social following, preferably in areas that align to Seymour's mission.
As a TikTok Channel Manager, you will
- Develop and own the TikTok strategy for Seymour, driving audience growth and engagement from launch onwards
- Identify and brief creators who align with Seymour's values and aesthetic; work closely with them to bring ideas to life, with suppport from with Immediate's Gardeners' World and central teams.
- Ensure quality control and consistency by editing creator content for tone, visual cohesion and TikTok best practice
- Monitor comments and messages to foster a positive, responsive channel presence
- Keep on top of emerging TikTok trends and sounds; analyse content performance to inform future creative and commissioning decisions
- Use planning and analytics tools to manage content pipeline, measure performance and inform strategy
- Build a clear picture of our target audience and their behaviours, using insight to shape our editorial calendar
- Test formats, hooks, captions and storytelling styles to optimise reach and resonance

- Proven experience running successful social media channels, including TikTok, ideally for a media brand, influencer, or content publisher
- Strong video editing skills - confident using mobile editing apps or Adobe suite to polish and finesse content
- A confident creative who can brief and guide creators while protecting the integrity of a brand
- Obsessed with TikTok - you know what's trending, what's tired, and what's next
- Confident using TikTok analytics and reporting tools to evaluate and optimise performance.
- A passion for gardening, houseplants, outdoor living or sustainability - you don't need to be an expert, but enthusiasm is key
- Data-literate and insight-driven - you can read the numbers and act on them
- Organised, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced test-and-learn environment

- Experience working with or as a creator
- Knowledge of affiliate marketing or social-first monetisation strategies
- Experience building or launching a new brand
