Our clients are seeking a skilled sheet metal welder fabricator to carry out all welding / fabrication activities within our clients business. To ensure production targets are achieved by effective communication, motivation & discipline. Provide feedback to Production Manager & our supervision team to improve our processes & quality control. Ensure the correct quantity of parts are produced efficiently, to a high standard & within estimated times. Promote a safe working environment & ensure Health & Safety procedures are supported.Core Responsibilities:Ensure work centres are operating efficientlyEnsure Standard Operating Procedures are being followedEnsure that health and safety guidelines are followedAssist the production team to develop ideas to reduce waste & increase efficiency throughContinual improvementManufacture jigs & fixtures as requiredAssist with training requirementsTo be punctual and reliableAny other duties as reasonably requestedRequired skills & experience:TIG or MIG welding experienceExperience working with stainless steel and/or aluminiumAble to code, or previous coding would be idealWorking hours4 day working week!
