Major Recruitment is currently recruiting for a skilled TIG Welder to join a growing and established client in Tamworth. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a small, friendly team and get involved in a variety of welding tasks on aluminum, stainless steel, pipe, angle, box section, and sheet metal.

Location: Tamworth Salary: £16 per hour Employment Type: Temp-to-Perm Shift Pattern: Monday to Thursday 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM, Friday 7:00 AM – 2:00 PM (45-minute lunch break) Overtime Available

What You’ll Be Doing:

TIG welding on aluminum and stainless steel materials to a high standard

*

Fabricating and welding pipe, angle, box section, and sheet metal

*

Reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints to determine welding requirements

*

Ensuring all welded products meet quality and safety standards

*

Inspecting and testing welds using visual inspection and non-destructive testing methods (where applicable)

*

Working collaboratively with a small team of 6 to meet production targets
