Welder / Fabricator

A well-established engineering manufacturer is seeking a skilled TIG Welder / Fabrication Engineer to join their team.

This is a hands-on role building specialist stainless steel food processing equipment for UK and international customers. The position offers varied work, stable hours and regular overtime.

The Role

*

TIG and Synergic MIG welding in stainless steel (1.0mm–12mm)

*

Pipework fabrication and purge welding

*

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings

*

Working to tolerances and bend allowances

*

Operating sheet metal and fabrication machinery

*

Working within the workshop and occasionally on customer sites

*

Maintaining high standards of quality, safety and workmanship

The Candidate

*

Proven experience in stainless steel welding and fabrication

*

Confident reading technical drawings

*

Able to work independently and as part of a team

*

Apprenticeship or City & Guilds in Welding/Fabrication (advantageous)

Hours

39 hours per week, Monday–Friday
Early finish on Fridays.

Regular overtime available at 1.5x hourly rate
