TIG Welder / Fabricator

£15.00–£19.00 per hour Day Shift 40 Hours Private Healthcare Pension Location: Leicester

The Opportunity

We’re recruiting for an experienced TIG Welder / Fabricator to join a well-established, people-focused engineering business specialising in precision stainless steel fabrication.

This is a day shift role working on one-offs and small batch work — ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in high-quality craftsmanship rather than repetitive jig work.

The Role – What You’ll Be Doing

\n TIG welding stainless steel (primarily up to 5mm thickness) \n

Producing one-off and small batch fabrications\n \n

Reading and working from engineering drawings \n

Carrying out basic fabrication tasks including cutting, forming and finishing \n

Occasional MIG welding when required \n

Ensuring high standards of quality and finish \n

This is not jig work — the role offers variety and requires skill, precision, and attention to detail.

What We’re Looking For

\n Proven experience in TIG welding stainless steel\n \n

Ability to weld thin gauge materials to a high standard \n

Experience with basic fabrication and reading technical drawings \n

Some MIG welding experience (advantageous but not essential) \n

A reliable, quality-driven approach and pride in your work \n
