The Role
We are seeking an experienced and emotionally intelligent Therapeutic Home Manager to lead a residential children’s home within a recognised therapeutic community.
This is more than a management role it is an opportunity to lead with purpose, shape a culture, and make a lasting impact on the lives of young people.
As Therapeutic Home Manager, you will:
* Lead and develop a residential staff team with warmth, clarity, and strong leadership
* Oversee the day-to-day running of the home, ensuring high standards of care and compliance
* Maintain strong safeguarding practices and ensure all regulatory and Ofsted standards are met
* Work collaboratively with clinical and senior leadership teams
* Embed a culture of reflective practice, supervision, and emotional support
* Support staff to understand behaviour through trauma, attachment, and relational dynamics
* Create a stable, safe, and nurturing environment where young people can thrive
You will be both a manager and a therapeutic leader someone who can remain thoughtful under pressure and support others to do the same.
About You
We are looking for someone who:
* Has experience within therapeutic residential childcare
* Has worked as a Registered Manager, Deputy Manager, or in a senior/team leader role
* Has strong knowledge of Children’s Homes Regulations, safeguarding, and Ofsted standards
You will be someone who believes that how we lead, think, and relate truly matters.

Requirements
* over 6 months of experience
* Level 5 NVQ in childrens residential
* Full UK Driving license
* Children and adults DBS on the update service
