They are known for their structured approach, well-organised workload, and supportive environment, ensuring engineers are equipped to perform at a consistently high standard.The Role Approved Electrician (PPM & Testing)This is a mobile role with a strong emphasis on electrical testing (EICR), supported by planned and reactive maintenance, along with remedial and installation works where required.Key responsibilities include: Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across commercial properties Planned preventative maintenance (PPM) Reactive maintenance and fault finding Electrical installation and remedial works General electrical duties across a range of commercial environments Work is carried out across London and the surrounding counties, with jobs scheduled efficiently to ensure a structured working day and minimise unnecessary travel.This role offers excellent variety, with a clear focus on testing while maintaining exposure to maintenance and installation, creating a well-rounded and engaging position.Working Pattern & OvertimeStandard working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime hours).There are strong opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional work: Evening work (when required) Saturday work Sunday work paid at x2 Callout rota with £100 standby payment On occasions where evening work is scheduled, hours may be adjusted across the week (for example, condensed into a 4-day working pattern).Realistic earnings of £55,000£60,000 based on overtime and callout participation.RequirementsTo be considered for this role, you must have: NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation 18th Edition Wiring Regulations 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent) ECS Card Full UK Driving Licence You will be confident working independently in a mobile role, with a strong work ethic and a professional approach when representing the business on client sites.
