This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Approved Electrician or Testing Electrician to join a respected Electrical Contractor delivering commercial PPM, EICR, and maintenance works across London and the surrounding areas, with realistic earnings of £55,000£60,000.

The business has built a strong reputation for delivering high-quality electrical services across the commercial sector, supported by a stable pipeline of long-term contracts and repeat clients. They are known for their structured approach, well-organised workload, and supportive environment, ensuring engineers are equipped to perform at a consistently high standard.

This is a mobile role with a strong emphasis on electrical testing (EICR), supported by planned and reactive maintenance, along with remedial and installation works where required.

Key responsibilities include:

• Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICR) across commercial properties
• Planned preventative maintenance (PPM)
• Reactive maintenance and fault finding
• Electrical installation and remedial works
• General electrical duties across a range of commercial environments

Work is carried out across London and the surrounding counties, with jobs scheduled efficiently to ensure a structured working day and minimise unnecessary travel.

This role offers excellent variety, with a clear focus on testing while maintaining exposure to maintenance and installation, creating a well-rounded and engaging position.

Standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week (daytime hours).

There are strong opportunities to increase earnings through overtime and additional work:

• Evening work (when required)
• Saturday work
• Sunday work paid at x2
• Callout rota with £100 standby payment

On occasions where evening work is scheduled, hours may be adjusted across the week (for example, condensed into a 4-day working pattern).

Realistic earnings of £55,000£60,000 based on overtime and callout participation.

To be considered for this role, you must have:

• NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 Inspection & Testing (or equivalent)
• ECS Card
• Full UK Driving Licence
