Our OEM Client based in Whitley, Coventry, is searching for a Test Engineer - Powertrain Testbeds to join their team, Inside IR35. This is a contract position until 31st March 2026.

Umbrella Pay Rate: £27.03 per hour.

Duties:

Deliver testing activities in line with agreed project plans and complexity. Maximize utilization of test assets against defined targets. Monitor and report on customer satisfaction through structured feedback mechanisms. Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities within the team and testing processes. Track and report time savings and efficiency gains from implemented improvements. Provide data-driven reports demonstrating the effectiveness and efficiency of test equipment. Ensure strict adherence to internal engineering operations (EO) processes. Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction through quality and timely delivery. Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:

Be a point of contact for our internal customers, liaising with key stakeholders to gather testing requirements and inputs according to process for the assign project. Work in union with Testbed operators to co-ordinate project tasks and ensure timely delivery of agreed test plan.
