We are looking for aTest Analyst to play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our mobile and web applications. You will be an integral part of a scrum team and will get to work on a variety of client projects. This role offers a great opportunity for growth, and if you enjoy coaching and mentoring, you will be able to help develop more junior team members.
You will join a supportive team with a range of expertise, working collaboratively across the company. Your role will be focused on ensuring a high-quality user experience by testing both our mobile and web applications.
What you’ll be working on
Your primary purpose will be to undertake all levels of testing, from system, UAT, regression, to integration. You will be responsible for analyzing requirements, creating and executing test procedures, and reporting on system quality by documenting defects.
- Undertaking all levels of testing: system, UAT, regression, and integration.
- Analysing, reviewing, and assessing user requirements, specifications, and design documentation for testability.
- Creation and maintenance of test cases.
- Creating, maintaining, and executing test procedures.
- Analysing systems and the ability to report on system quality by reporting of actual results.
- Reporting and monitoring defects in defect management systems with all relevant information.
What you’ll bring to the team
We are looking for a Test Analyst with a strong understanding of testing processes and the project lifecycle, along with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will be meticulous and a strong problem-solver, with the ability to work effectively in an agile environment. They should be willing to continuously learn and stay updated on industry trends.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Good working knowledge of testing processes and project lifecycles.
- Working knowledge of Web/Mobile platform application development.
- Working knowledge of Jira and test management tools.
- Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Understanding of programming languages and the ability to read and understand code for test scripting.
- Ability to work in an agile environment and participate in iterative development cycles.
- Efficient time management to prioritize testing tasks, meet deadlines, and contribute to project timelines.
- Willingness to stay updated on industry trends, testing methodologies, and emerging technologies.
- Digital consultancy experience and/or an ISTQB Foundation certificate would be desirable.
