It's our policy to offer new colleagues joining us a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week, but if you'd like to work fewer hours (to a minimum of 12) we have opportunities for this too and would still love to hear from you. Customers are at the heart of everything we do. It takes lots of different people to run a store and this is a job for doers, with plenty of variety. Eligibility & Working Hours

We offer a minimum of 16 guaranteed hours each week. If you prefer a lower commitment, a minimum of 12 hours is available. You will be scheduled within the availability windows we provide and will receive three weeks’ notice of your shifts. Flexibility is supported; if your available times closely match but not exactly align with the advertised windows, we will still consider you.

We will only recruit individuals who are over the age of 18 if the role involves working before 6:15 am, after 9:45 pm, or in areas such as the warehouse, beers, wines and spirits, counters, bakery and driving roles.

Benefits

Our Tesco Colleague rate of pay starts from £13.28 an hour; this increases to £14.55 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may also apply depending on location.
