As our Tender Specialist you'll play a key role in some of the world's most exciting renewable technology projects. We're passionate about our work and love driving innovation to shape a sustainable future. In this role, you’ll be the bridge between client needs and winning proposals, shaping project scopes, translating technical and commercial input into clear plans, and ensuring strategic, well-founded bids. You will work closely with engineering, procurement, and commercial teams to ensure competitive and compliant bid submissions.
Anchoring Your Impact:
You'll define clear project scopes based on client requests, ensuring a solid foundation for each proposal. You will analyse tender documents, client specifications, and project requirements to develop comprehensive technical submissions.
Ensure proposals align with industry standards, project requirements, and best practices.
You have a clear technical understanding of the request, have the ability to identify gaps, reading between the lines of requests to put together clarification questions.
With input from specialists, you'll craft compelling technical proposals that translate complex solutions into clear, persuasive plans.
By providing accurate estimates for work hours and project timelines, you'll help set realistic expectations.
Together with company leadership, you'll refine bid strategies to make sure we put forward the strongest possible offer.
You’ve got it:
You have a proactive approach and are keen to engage with other members of the team to further understanding or clarify technical queries.
You have a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in the offshore cable / pipeline installation sector.
You have 3+ years of experience in tendering, cost estimation, and technical bid preparation.
It would be considered a plus if you have experience in working in the offshore division of a transmission system operator, offshore wind farm developer, or marine contractor.
You will be on top of our list if you have commercial experience either in tendering or estimating budgets/hours for projects.
You hold a bachelor in Engineering or similar. A master’s degree in Offshore Engineering or similar would be preferred.
Your communication skills? We value them highly.
Going the extra mile for the team? You’re the first one to raise your hand.
When a project takes an unexpected turn, you don't panic. You quickly weigh the options, make a plan and adapt.
Why you'll love it here:
25 holidays on a full-time basis (and the possibility of buying more if 25 just isn't enough!)
Your future covered with a pension plan*
