Brightwork are seeking an experienced Technical/Quality Manager to lead food safety, quality, and technical compliance within a fast-paced UK food manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, initial 3 month FTC position. The Role You will play a key role in maintaining high standards of product safety, legality, and quality across the business, working closely with internal teams, suppliers, and customers. Key Responsibilities Own and continuously improve the Quality Management System (QMS) in line with BRCGS, HACCP, SALSA, and customer standards Lead internal, customer, and third-party audits, ensuring timely close-out of non-conformances Ensure full compliance with UK & EU food legislation and customer codes of practice Manage HACCP plans, risk assessments, and food safety controls Maintain and approve raw material, packaging, and finished product specifications Manage customer complaints and technical investigations, driving corrective actions Lead, coach, and develop the Technical Services team Deliver food safety and quality training across the site Drive continuous improvement through data analysis and cross-functional collaboration About You Degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or related discipline (or equivalent experience) Strong background in technical or quality management within the food manufacturi...
