A Technical Support / Applications Engineer who brings strong customer engagement skills and who enjoys working with end users to support and promote technical products will join a thriving High-Tech Company. Training provided. Travel will be required for approximately 25% of the time including Internationally.
Applications are welcome from Technical Support / Applications Engineers who may have experience of setting up demonstrations and equipment such as sensors, radar, sonar, navigation, broadcast, audio/video, or cameras. You may be a hobbyist or have worked in the Defence sector. You must be able to work independently and enjoy the customer facing engagement essential to this role.
Qualified to HNC/HND/Degree level in an Electronic (or similar) Engineering discipline, you’ll hold a full driving License and be willing and able to travel both domestically and Internationally. Hybrid working available.
Key Requirements:
* Electronic / Mechanical Engineering related qualification (Degree/HNC/HND).
* Proven experience of working with technical products such as radar, sonar, security sensor systems, navigation or similar.
* Technical support experience.
* Full Driving License & ability to travel to deliver demonstrations and training.
* Excellent customer engagement skills.
In this Technical Support / Applications Engineer role you will support customers with technical queries, providing training and setting up and undertaking product demonstrations. Reporting to the COO and working closely with project engineers, sales and engineering teams, you will take responsibility for achieving resolution of technical issues with the radar equipment, ensuring demo sites are fully operational and compliant.
