Our client, a fast-growing and highly innovative smart home & building automation business, is looking for a Technical Sales Account Manager/Partner Coach to join their expanding UK team.


This is a fantastic opportunity to join a company that is disrupting its market and scaling rapidly with revenues of £200M and a £1B growth target.


This a full-time, office-based role in Reading


What you’ll be doing

  • Supporting partners (installers/integrators) with technical queries via phone, email, and ticketing systems
  • Assisting with project planning, including system design and hardware selection
  • Troubleshooting installations and providing practical, solution-focused advice
  • Guiding partners through setup, configuration, and commissioning
  • Delivering training and onboarding support to new and existing partners
  • Helping partners successfully sell and implement solutions
  • Collaborating with internal teams across sales, training, and technical support


What skills you’ll bring

  • Background in electrical engineering, automation, or similar technical field would be highly advantageous
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Confidence communicating with partners via phone, email, and in person
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly and practically
  • A technically credible approach with strong relationship-building skills
  • Interest or experience in smart home tech, IoT, or building automation
  • A proactive, motivated mindset suited to a fast-growth environment
