Technical Manager Bristol £60,000 – £70,000 (dependent on experience) We are working in partnership with a 5 star UK housebuilder to recruit a skilled Technical Manager for their regional office in Bristol. This is a key role focused on managing the technical aspects of residential developments from inception to completion. As Technical Manager, you will be responsible for driving the technical delivery of multiple housing schemes, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and cost-effective solutions. You will collaborate with external consultants, local authorities, and internal teams to coordinate the design process and secure all necessary approvals. This role offers flexible working arrangements while promoting regular in-person collaboration to maintain strong team engagement and successful project outcomes. Key Responsibilities: Lead and manage the technical design process across multiple housing developments. Coordinate external consultants and ensure the timely delivery of drawings, technical reports, and approvals. Obtain all necessary technical and statutory approvals (including S38, S104, and S278). Manage utility designs, legal and conveyance plans, and infrastructure requirements. Assist with the discharge of planning conditions and carry out value engineering reviews. Provide continuous technical support to site and commercial teams throughout the build process.
