In this role, the successful Technical Manager or similar would be responsible for the technical leadership and inspection of plant and power processes, integrity, life assessments etc… In addition, you will be responsible for both preparing and supporting the preparation of proposals. On top of this, you will also be responsible for client engagement, being the main point of contact on projects, offering technical advice as and when needed. Penultimately, you will be responsible for keeping accurate technical documentation a well as team management and mentorship. Finally, you will be responsible for ensuring all work meets both health and safety, customer, and company standard.
The ideal Technical Manager or similar will have a background within the Plant/Power industry, having previous working experience in test and inspection of plant integrity and/or life assessments. In addition, you will be happy to travel nationwide, with some international travel involved as and when needed. On top of this, you will have strong communicational, organisational and analytical skills, with prior experience in man and/or project management. Penultimately, you will have experience within mechanical Engineering. Finally, you will hold a full, valid UK driver's license.
