Job Role: Technical Field Sales Representative\nLocation or Commutable from: Nottingham\n\nSalary: £35,000 per annum + company car + laptop and mobile phone\n\nThe Company:\n\nYou will be joining a leading design and manufacture company providing fixtures to the aerospace industry.\n\nThe role:\n\nThe successful candidate will be identifying and developing new business opportunities across all manufacturing sectors to provide workholding solutions within these new territories and its markets. \n\nTechnical Field Sales Representative Responsibilities:\n\nDeveloping sales strategies.\nMaintain regular contact with your clients to strengthen relationships ensuring spend is maximised.\nCreate tenders and quotes for new business.\nPresent technical solutions that are relevant to your customer needs and to secure long term commitment from customers.\nLiaise with the design team to ensure projects are delivered within scope.\nDeliver effective client presentations.\nContributing to sales strategies, pricing decisions and contract negotiations based on technical considerations. \n\nThe Candidate:\n\nExperience working in Engineering Design and Workholding.\nFormal qualifications in manufacturing engineering with experience in workholding or tooling as a related field.\nAbility to read and create technical drawings.\n5+ years of experience as a sales engineer or in a similar technical sales role.\nStrong technical background and ability to understand complex technical concepts/drawings and effectively communicate them to both technical and non-technical audiences.\nWillingness to travel as required.
