Guidant Global is partnering with Airbus to recruit an experienced Senior Technical Engineer / Project Manager to support a high-value portfolio of sustainability-led building and infrastructure projects at the Broughton site. In this role, you'll provide technical leadership across facilities, construction, and infrastructure programmes, supporting the delivery of projects valued at €30m+ per year. You'll play a key role in shaping the workplace of the future, ensuring projects are delivered safely, sustainably, and in line with operational and strategic objectives. What you'll be doing
Project & Portfolio Leadership — Leading the technical delivery of multiple construction and facilities projects, ensuring alignment with electrical, mechanical, and building fabric standards at every stage. Technical Governance & Compliance — Establishing clear governance, ensuring projects meet time, cost, quality, and safety expectations while complying with statutory and Airbus standards. Facilities & Maintenance Alignment — Ensuring all project activity supports long-term maintenance, operational resilience, and business continuity across mechanical and electrical assets. Stakeholder & Customer Engagement — Acting as a trusted technical interface for internal customers, understanding business needs and translating them into effective technical solutions. Supplier & Partner Management — Managing contractors and suppliers through SLAs and KPIs to ensure high performance and value for money. Systems & Data Management — Ensuring all projects are accurately captured and maintained within CMMS / CAFM systems. Sustainability & Cost Efficiency — Driving energy and water efficiency initiatives while contributing to cost-reduction and continuous improvement programmes. Health, Safety & Environment — Championing a safety-first culture and ensuring all work aligns with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
Qualifications & Experience
Strong electrical or mechanical engineering background (electrical preferred, including HV/LV assets). Experience leading technical teams and managing suppliers or subcontractors. Solid project management fundamentals, ideally within facilities, construction, or industrial environments. Knowledge of building regulations, maintenance standards, and facilities operations. Experience managing budgets, operating costs, and investment portfolios. Working understanding of sustainability principles and their application in an industrial setting. Confidence using digital tools, including Google Workspace and construction or facilities management systems.
