Established, growing manufacturer of lighting products looking for an experienced Technical & Compliance Manager to join their senior management team.

Based in Portsmouth

Key areas to role are;

  • To develop, consolidate and expand the business’ systems in the following areas.
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • product quality
  • \n
  • business management through ISO9001
  • \n
  • health & safety
  • \n
  • environmental
  • \n
  • risk assessment procedures
  • \n
  • Coach and develop the production team and resolve internal and supply chain quality issues.
    • Product Risk Assessments
    \n
  • \n
  • Product Compliance Files
  • \n
  • Product manuals technical content
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Coordinate and prepare
  • \n
\n
    \n
  • Liaise with customers and supply chain around quality and specification issues.
  • \n
\n

Essential attributes for a successful candidate are;

\n
    \n
  • A quality manager with experience in a similar manufacturing or engineering environment with a strong electrical/electronic background.
  • \n
  • A candidate from within the lighting industry would be desirable.
  • \n
  • Excellent communication, rapport building and people skills.
  • \n
  • Positive attitude and strong managerial skills
  • \n
  • Work under own initiative
  • \n
  • Must be confident when dealing with customers and suppliers
  • \n
  • Must be able to juggle and prioritise many issues at once
  • \n

Someone comfortable with a leadership role in a manufacturing environment
