The roleThe role We’re looking for a hands-on technical co-founder/CTO to own the build and scale of CentricAi.This isn’t a “come build my idea” situation. We’re an operator founder from the trenches of courier ops — we own GTM, pilots, courier network, ops, and customer workflows. You’ll own product engineering, architecture, and shipping the MVP into real usage. What you’ll build (first 90 days)Dispatcher console (web): job creation, live map view, assignment, exception handling, SLA trackingDriver web app: accept/complete jobs, live tracking, status updates, POD (photo/signature + time/location)Core dispatch logic: assignment rules/scoring, SLA prioritisation, capacity handlingETAs that don’t lie: live re-forecasting using routing signals + driver locationComms hooks: customer notifications (SMS/WhatsApp/email) + internal ops alertsBasic analytics: on-time %, pickup/delivery ETA accuracy, courier performance signalsResponsibilities (ongoing)Own architecture + delivery velocity (MVP → v1 → scale)Build with reliability + observability (logging, metrics, audit trail)Integrate mapping/routing + messaging providersEstablish security basics (auth, permissions, data handling)Work tightly with the CEO to turn ops reality into product decisions fastWhat we’re looking for (must-haves)Strong full-stack ability (frontend + backend + database)Comfortable shipping scrappy but solid MVPs quicklyExperience with real-time location/tracking or event-driven systems is a big plusGood product instincts: you care about UX, edge cases, and operational workflowsCalm under pressure, direct communicator, builder mentalityNice-to-havesRouting/optimisation, ETA modelling, geofencing, fleet/dispatch tooling exposureMap APIs (Google/Mapbox), background jobs/queues, websocketsPayments/invoicing, multi-tenant SaaS experienceFamiliarity with courier ops / gig workforce toolingTech direction (flexible)We’re not religious about stack — we care about shipping. Typical fit: Next.js/React + Node or Python + Postgres (Supabase ok) + hosted infra. We’ll choose what gets us to pilots fastest. What you getCo-founder equity (meaningful ownership; structure depends on commitment + contribution)Real-world problem, real feedback loop, fast iteration (no “build for months in a cave”)Operator founder who brings: courier network, pilot outreach, workflows, SLA reality, sales hustleA product with clear wedge: predictability + control beats “fast” when customers are fed upStage + what we lackWe’re ops-heavy and engineering-light. The gap is build ownership and shipping velocity. That’s why this role matters. How to applySend:A short intro + what you’re building/building historyYour preferred stack1–2 examples of products you’ve shipped (links, GitHub, or screenshots)Your availability (hours/week) and location (UK/remote)Quick interview process20-min founder chat (fit + speed + expectations)45-min deep dive (architecture approach + MVP plan)Build sprint alignment (small scoped test or walkthrough of past work)Tagged as: Full stack, new product development, Remote Working, SaaS, Software Developer, start up, Tech, Technical Lead #J-18808-Ljbffr
