Technical Architect – Enterprise Architecture Leadership!
Location: Central London (Hybrid)

I’m hiring a Technical Architect to shape the future of my client’s global technology estate.
A world leader in energy trading, they’re investing heavily in modern, scalable, secure systems that power their global operations.
If you’re a Technical Architect with enterprise architecture knowledge who thrives on big-picture thinking, complex problem-solving and influencing senior stakeholders….. this could be your next role.
What you’ll lead:
Working across multiple projects and collaborating closely with senior stakeholders, you will set architectural standards, shape multi-year roadmaps, identify and reduce technical debt, and define clear current-state and target-state architectures.
You’ll guide system selection, champion innovation (including AI and automation), resolve technical challenges, and provide technical leadership to delivery teams.
The role requires strong stakeholder management, impartial decision-making, and the ability to translate complex requirements into robust, pragmatic architectural designs while ensuring compliance, resilience and long-term strategic alignment.
You’ll work closely with:
CTO, Business Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, global delivery teams.
I’m looking for:
Proven experience as a Technical / Enterprise Architect
Strong knowledge of EA frameworks (TOGAF ideal)
Comfortable navigating BPMN Agile & Waterfall methodologies
Experience in some or one of the following: oil industry, commodity trading, CTRM / ECTRM, OrbusInfinity, iServer, Low Code Platforms and/or financial services
Excellent stakeholder management & communication
Ability to balance design rigour with pragmatic delivery
