Job Description

We're looking for a hands-on Tech Lead who builds, ships, and leads by example. You'll own architecture, contribute across the stack, and work closely with Product to turn ambiguous problems into impactful solutions. You'll also integrate AI/LLM capabilities into production systems, ensuring reliable, real-world outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Translate business needs into scalable technical solutions
  • Design and evolve system architecture
  • Contribute across frontend, backend, and infrastructure
  • Drive best practices in CI/CD, testing, and observability
  • Build and optimise AI-powered features (LLMs, inference pipelines)
  • Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Lead, mentor, and support engineers

Requirements

  • 7+ years' software engineering experience
  • Proven Tech Lead or senior engineer experience
  • Strong product mindset and ownership
  • Full-stack capability (strong Python/backend focus)
  • Experience with AI/LLM systems (or ability to ramp quickly)
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, ambiguous environments

Nice to Have

  • Experience with DDD, CQRS, or event-driven systems
  • Background in large-scale or data-intensive platforms
  • Familiarity with Go, Rust, or React
