About this Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen in the Identity & Authentication (ID&A) Platform for a Senior Product Owner to join the team. The platform is responsible for managing key authentication, identification and authorisation capabilities across LBG through an enterprise-wide product offering which extends across multiple business units, customer bases and geographies. You'll work with high impact innovative technology that is not just the bank of the future, but industry trailblazing in securing digital access across multiple channels.

The ID&A Platform is the front door to the bank; whether the customer is logging on, making a payment or shopping online, this platform and the colleagues running it will ensure a positive customer experience providing assurance that their money is safe, whilst also offering balanced security keeping fraudsters out. You'll be at the forefront of an exciting period for the Platform as a true enabler of a wide variety of business needs.

What you’ll be doing

You'll lead on the shaping and delivery of a range of exciting initiatives that help us achieve our objectives of providing authentication, identification and authorisation capabilities that meet the needs of our customers while reducing friction where possible.

Specifically, this role will sit in the Platform’s Self-Serve & Integration Lab, where you will be responsible for developing the self-service proposition for the Platform. You'll be expected to set and drive your product strategy in the domain you own while also guiding and developing more junior Product Owners.

As well as working directly with engineering teams to build new features and release them for business consumption, you'll collaborate with Design and Data teams to understand customer problems and ideate the right solution. Aside from this you'll need to work with a diverse range of stakeholders and cross-functional teams to both run and improve your products.

You'll be operating within a complex environment to deliver high quality outputs and challenge the status quo. We're looking for you to develop a culture of innovation and collaboration, always modelling a customer-centric approach, while creating an environment in which people bring out the best in themselves ensuring they feel safe to experiment.

No two days will be the same; it’s a truly exciting role with scope to grow and develop in your career.
