Team Leader Learning Disabilities & Autism Harrow, LondonShift times: Monday Friday8:45-4:30Nocturnal Recruitment Solutions are looking for a passionate, confident Team Leader to join a Day Centre in Harrow, supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism, and Complex Needs to live fulfilling and meaningful lives.This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys leading from the front, developing staff, and creating a positive, engaging environment where the people we support can thrive.You will lead a team of dedicated Support Workers and play a key role in ensuring the service delivers high-quality, person-centred support every day.What Youll Be DoingAs Team Leader, you will help shape a service that truly puts people first.Your responsibilities will include:Leading and motivating a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and supportCoordinating daily activities and programmes within the Day Centre such as therapeutic sessions as well as recreational and educational activitiesEnsuring individuals with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs receive meaningful, person-centred supportSupporting staff through supervision, mentoring, and guidancePromoting independence, wellbeing, and inclusion for the people we supportMaintaining high standards of safeguarding, health & safety and care qualityWorking closely with families, professionals and multidisciplinary teamsSupporting rota planning and smooth day-to-day running of the serviceAbout YouWere looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and confident in leading others.You will likely have:Experience supporting adults with Learning Disabilities, Autism and Complex NeedsExperience as a Team Leader in a Day CentreA strong understanding of person-centred care and safeguardingThe ability to motivate, support and develop a teamConfidence managing complex needs or behaviours that challengeExcellent communication and organisational skillsFull flexibility to work across service needsDesirableLevel 3 Diploma in Health & Social Care (or willingness to work towards Level 5)Experience working in a day serviceKnowledge of Positive Behaviour SupportWhy Join Us?We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to grow, connect, and enjoy meaningful experiences.
