Team Assistant

New Today

Job Description

I’m working exclusively with a highly respected, confidential global investment firm to find an exceptional EA/PA who will act as a true strategic partner to senior members of their investment team. This is not a conventional admin role – it’s a rare opportunity to operate at the centre of a world-class investment business, where no two days are the same and where your impact will be both immediate and long-lasting.

If you thrive in high-performance environments, enjoy solving problems before others see them coming, and want to be part of an intellectually curious, high-trust team, this is a standout opportunity.

The role:

In this firm, Assistants are the connective tissue of the investment team – not just organisers, but collaborators, problem-solvers, and essential drivers of performance. You will support 1–3 senior investors while working closely with two other top-tier Assistants. You will play a key role in keeping the team sharp, informed, and operating at their best. This firm rewards excellence, recognises initiative, and provides genuine opportunities to grow your influence over time.

What you’ll be doing:

Partnering closely with senior leaders by managing diaries, travel, shifting priorities and ad-hoc needs with precision and foresight. Supporting investment workflows by sourcing research, tracking interactions, monitoring events and maintaining key data. Running essential team operations including scheduling meetings, coordinating travel, managing expenses and registering for industry conferences. Driving improvements by spotting bottlenecks, refining processes and delivering projects that strengthen the team. Stepping in where needed, including occasional front-of-house support, ensuring the team presents with warmth, professionalism and polish.

About you:

My client is looking for someone people naturally rely on when it matters most. Someone who blends sound judgment with resilience, precision with initiative. You will be highly organised and always thinking ahead. You will have exceptional attention to detail, uncompromising accuracy, and a self-starting, can-do attitude. You will be adaptable, calm under pressure and energised by a fast-paced environment. Curiosity is key – especially a desire to understand how a top-tier investment team thinks and operates. Experience in demanding professional or financial services environments is highly beneficial. An understanding of the investment world is an advantage but not essential if you learn quickly.

The firm (confidential):

While the company name remains confidential, I can share that it is a privately owned global investment firm with a long-term, contrarian investment philosophy. They have offices across eight countries, over 400 employees and more than $30bn in assets under management. Their culture sets them apart: a high-trust, high-feedback, low-ego environment that values intellectual curiosity, independent thinking, and diverse perspectives. They reward initiative, encourage continuous development, offer meaningful flexibility and run unique philanthropy programmes for those who want broader impact.

Why this opportunity stands out:

This role is not just about supporting senior leaders – it’s about shaping how a high-calibre investment team operates. If you bring energy, judgment and exceptional organisational capability, this position will give you real scope, influence and long-term growth that is genuinely rare in the EA/PA space.
