We are currently seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to work in a range of secondary schools across Stockport and the surrounding areas.
These roles involve supporting students on both a 1:1 basis and in small groups, including those with SEN needs. You will play a key role in helping students stay engaged, build confidence, and achieve their full potential.
The Role:
Supporting students in the classroom on a 1:1 and small group basis
Assisting pupils with additional needs, including SEN
Promoting positive behaviour and supporting classroom management
Working closely with teachers and pastoral staff to support student progress
Encouraging engagement, confidence, and independence in learning
What We’re Looking For:
Experience working with young people (e.g. youth work, coaching, mentoring, or similar)
Strong behaviour management skills
A proactive, patient, and supportive approach
Flexibility to travel across Stockport and surrounding areas
A genuine passion for supporting young people in education

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
