About the Role

This is a dual-role position supporting children:

In the classroom, helping to deliver engaging learning experiences
With SEN needs, offering patient, tailored support to individual pupilsYou will work closely with teachers and the SEN team to ensure all children-regardless of need-can access learning, build confidence, and develop independence.

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality support within the classroom
Work 1:1 or with small groups of pupils with additional needs
Build positive, nurturing relationships with pupils
Promote resilience, independence, and a love of learning
Help create a calm, structured, and encouraging environment
Support children both academically and emotionally as they learn through their mistakes

Who We're Looking For

Nurturing, patient, and passionate about inclusive education
Interested in developing skills in SEND support
Confident working with a range of needs, including Autism, communication differences, or SEMH
Able to work collaboratively as part of a supportive staff team
Committed to helping all children feel safe, valued, and capable
Calm, consistent, and able to support children in a positive, encouraging way
