Job Title: Teaching Assistant (SEN)

Location: Bolton
Start Date: Immediate Start
Salary: £90 - £110 per day

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a dedicated SEN school in Bolton that caters for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH and complex learning difficulties. The school’s nurturing approach and inclusive ethos make it a fantastic environment for both staff and pupils to thrive.

The school are seeking an experienced Learning Support Assistant to join their team. The successful applicant will support pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups, helping them access the curriculum, manage their emotions, and develop key life skills.

The successful Learning Support Assistant will:

Have prior experience working with children or young people with additional needs (in a school or similar setting).

Be confident in managing challenging behaviour and using positive behaviour strategies.

Be patient, empathetic, and committed to helping every child reach their potential.

Be comfortable supporting across a range of ages and abilities.
