What you ll be doing as a TA in Wallasey Supporting teachers in delivering engaging, motivating and inclusive lessons across different year groups. Encouraging pupils to stay on task, grow in confidence and participate positively in classroom activities. Providing 1:1 or small-group support , helping children make progress academically, socially and emotionally. Using positive behaviour strategies to maintain a calm and welcoming learning environment. Assisting with classroom organisation, preparing resources, updating displays and supporting daily routines. Helping pupils with additional needs feel fully included, ensuring everyone can access learning at their own pace. Following safeguarding procedures and keeping pupil wellbeing at the centre of everything you do.
