We are seeking a passionate, proactive and caring Teaching Assistant who is ready to jump straight in and make a difference to a Year 6 Classroom. The school you would be joining on a temporary, supply basis is a welcoming, inclusive and highly successful Church of England primary school on the outskirts of Stafford. They are a supportive community and pride themselves on their high standards of learning and behaviour.

You will support teaching and learning in Upper Key Stage Two (Year 6), including occasional class cover. The role is on a part-time basis, with the potential for additional hours.

The role includes:

Providing the best support to all children within your class during an integral point of their school life, supporting them with upcoming SAT's.
Working for a reputable education agency - Academics Ltd.
Working alongside the class teacher to provide general support for the class where needed; also has the ability to support pupils on a more 1:1/small group basis where needed.
Assisting class teacher in adapting classroom activities and resources to meet all of the pupil's needs.
The ability to create and foster an inclusive, safe and warm learning environment for all of the pupils within your class and the wider school community.
Support the pupil's social, emotional, and academic development.We are looking for someone who:

Has experience working within primary schools as a general Teaching Assistant.
Is patient, caring, and reliable
Enhanced DBS
Available to start ASAP
Is able to follow guidance and adapt support to suit the Year 6 class.
Ability to support a primary classroom with general support; whilst also being able to support smaller groups and on a 1:1 basis.
Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant certificate.
Abiliy to commute to Stafford daily.
Fully registered to work for AcademicsPay: £90 - £100 a day (dependent upon experience). Holiday pay is included on day rate. xbpsjku
