Class Mate is partnering with a supportive primary school in NG16 who are looking to appoint an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work closely with pupils with ADHD.

This is a full-time role suited to a proactive SEN TA who can support focus, emotional regulation, and positive behaviour through structured routines and clear boundaries.

The Role:

Full-time SEN TA role within a mainstream primary school

*

Supporting pupils with ADHD on a 1:1 and small group basis

*

Implementing behaviour strategies and supporting self-regulation

*

Working closely with class teachers, SENCo, and parents

*

Encouraging independence, confidence, and engagement

The Ideal Candidate:

Experience supporting children with ADHD

*

Confident managing behaviour in a calm, consistent manner

*

Able to adapt support strategies throughout the school day

*

Strong understanding of SEN inclusion and safeguarding

*

Positive, resilient, and child-centred
