Prospero Teaching is looking for a Teaching assistant for an Ofsted "Good" Primary school in North Somerset.

The school is a popular two-form entry mainstream Primary School with a supportive senior leadership team. The school is going from strength to strength and providing training to all staff.

The position is open to both qualified and experienced teaching assistants. Depending on performance the school would look at either extending the contract or offering a permanent position.

CONTRACT/POSITION DETAILS

Location -North Somerset Position - Teaching Assistant Type of work - help teachers prepare materials, set up classrooms ready for lessons, work with individual students and small groups, lead classes and activities with help from the teacher. Contract or position start date - September 2025 Duration / Likely Duration - On going Contract or position end date (if applicable) - N/A Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temporary Full time/part time - Full time & Part time Minimum rate of pay - Minimum rate £95 per day Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm : Mon - Fri (term time only)

EXPERIENCE, TRAINING AND QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 month experience in childcare or education.

Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year
