A popular and academically strong primary school in Tilehurst are searching for an enthusiastic and dedicated teaching assistant to join them. Ideally, the graduate teaching assistant will have previously worked with children either in a similar setting or in a tutoring capacity. This is a long-term contract .The successful teaching assistant will be working in KS1 and KS2.

The school offer ongoing support and training and have a fantastic senior leadership team. The teaching assistant will be working full-time Monday to Friday and will not be expected to work during school holidays. This is a relatively large school being 2 form entry. Education to a degree level would be ideal for this position (2:2 or above). The school are offering a competitive daily rate for the successful teaching assistant.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the children in Key Stage 1and 2 with Maths, English as well as the other subjects. There will be a particular focus on supporting children in their SATS preparation.
