Tradewind Recruitment are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant, to work on a 1:1 basis with children in Key Stages 1 & 2 at a number of supportive and inclusive primary schools across South Liverpool.

This is a highly rewarding role where you will be supporting pupils with Autism and additional needs, helping them to flourish both academically and socially within a supportive school environment.

As a 1:1 Learning Support Assistant, you will:

Provide individualised support for children with Autism and other SEN.

Adapt activities and resources to meet each child's unique learning style.

Work closely with teachers and the SENCO to deliver tailored support plans.

Encourage positive behaviour, build self-esteem, and promote social and emotional development.

We are looking for someone who has:

Proven experience supporting children with Autism.

A background working with children, either in schools or as a Support Worker.

A Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or above) - desirable but not essential with the right experience.

Patience, empathy, and excellent communication skills.

A genuine passion for helping children reach their full potential. xbpsjku

Essential Requirements

Applicants must have:

Proof of Right to Work in the UK

An Enhanced DBS (or be willing to obtain one)
