EduTalent Group are recruiting for a welcoming and inclusive school in Tunbridge Wells that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant for an immediate start.
This is a rewarding opportunity to support pupils with additional needs across the classroom, helping them to access learning and reach their full potential within a structured and supportive environment.
• Support pupils with SEN on a one-to-one and small group basis • Assist the class teacher with learning activities and lesson delivery • Help create a positive, inclusive and structured classroom environment • Support pupils with communication, emotional regulation and behaviour • Encourage engagement, independence and confidence in learning • Work closely with teachers and wider school staff • Promote positive behaviour strategies and consistent routines • Support safeguarding and pupil wellbeing at all times
Requirements • Previous experience working with children or young people is desirable • SEN experience is preferred • A patient, calm and supportive approach • Strong communication and teamwork skills • Ability to adapt to individual pupil needs • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply
