Academics, a trusted supply agency proudly supporting local schools for over 15 years, is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS2 SEN Teaching Assistant to work in a welcoming primary school in the centre of Crewe.The RoleYou will be working full time within Key Stage 2, supporting pupils with Special Educational Needs on a 1:1 and small-group basis. The role runs Monday to Friday from 8:30am - 3:30pm.Key responsibilities include:Supporting pupils with a range of SEN including ASD, ADHD, and learning difficultiesHelping to adapt classroom activities to meet individual learning needsWorking closely with the class teacher and SENCO to deliver tailored supportEncouraging confidence, independence, and positive behaviourCreating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environmentWe're Looking For Someone Who:Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (school experience desirable)Is patient, caring, and enthusiastic about educationCan build positive relationships with pupils and staffIs reliable and committed to a full-time roleHolds (or is willing to obtain) an enhanced DBS on the update serviceWhy Work with Academics?For 15 years, we've proudly partnered with schools across the local area, building strong relationships and matching great staff with fantastic opportunities.
