Role: Teaching Assistant SEMH

Salary: £23 - £27k per Annum

Location: Teaching Assistant SEMH

Hours: 40 hours per week - Term Time only - Start time 8.15am -3:30pm

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver clear feedback on behaviour, attitudes, and peer interactions.
• Maintain positive behaviour and focus, adjusting strategies when challenges arise.
• Create a supportive and safe learning environment through strong pupil relationships.
• Promote independence and uphold high behavioural expectations.
• Support lesson delivery by implementing and adapting planned activities.
• Reinforce teaching concepts and ensure resources are prepared.
• Contribute to a well-rounded curriculum that supports pupil achievement.

Qualifications and Experience:

• A patient, caring and positive attitude
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
• Previous experience working with children in a school setting
• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or working with children is desirable
