We are currently recruiting on behalf of a friendly and supportive primary school in Deal, Kent, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to join their team full-time until the end of the current academic year.

This role will involve supporting a Year 6 class, helping pupils prepare for the important transition to secondary school. The successful candidate will work closely with the class teacher to provide classroom support, assist with learning activities and ensure pupils remain engaged and supported throughout the school day.

This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and experienced Teaching Assistant who enjoys working in Upper Key Stage 2 and making a positive impact on pupils during their final year of primary school.

• Supporting the Year 6 teacher in delivering engaging lessons

• Working with small groups and individual pupils to support learning

• Assisting with SATs preparation and classroom activities

• Helping maintain a positive and productive classroom environment

• Supporting pupils academic progress and confidence

• Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school

• Experience supporting Upper Key Stage 2 / Year 6 preferred

• Confident supporting pupils with different learning needs

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Reliable, proactive and enthusiastic xbpsjku

• Enhanced DBS certificate (on the Update Service or willing to obtain one)

• Right to work in the UK
