About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support teaching and learning within a friendly and supportive primary school in West Cheshire. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping children reach their full potential in a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment. The position begins immediately and will continue through to the end of the current academic year.

Key Responsibilities

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging and high-quality lessons. Provide individual or small-group support to pupils, including those with additional learning needs. Assist with the planning and preparation of learning materials and classroom resources. Help maintain a positive, well-managed classroom environment. Promote good behaviour, emotional wellbeing, and social development among pupils. Support pupils during transitions, such as entering or leaving the classroom, assemblies, or break times. Contribute to the assessment and tracking of pupil progress where appropriate. Work collaboratively with teaching staff, SENCO, and other support professionals.
