Teacher of Science / Cannock Area / February Half-Term Start / Fixed-Term Contract

Academics are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a welcoming secondary school in the Cannock area who are seeking an enthusiastic Science Teacher to join their thriving department from February half-term. The role is expected to run until Easter, with the potential for extension for the right candidate.

The Role:

* Teach engaging and well-structured KS3 & KS4 Science lessons (primarily KS3)
* Plan, prepare and assess in line with school policies
* Contribute to a strong, collaborative department
* Build positive relationships with students and support their progress
* Full-time cover from February half-term → expected to run until Easter

Applicant Requirements:

* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) with science specialism - essential
* Strong classroom management and subject knowledge
* Experience teaching Science at a secondary level
* Ability to deliver lessons across Biology, Chemistry and Physics at KS3 & KS4
* Committed to raising attainment and fostering curiosity in Science
* Enhanced DBS on the update service (or willingness to apply)
