An Outstanding secondary school in East London is seeking a thoughtful and engaging Religious Education (RE) ECT to join their team from September 2026.
This is an excellent opportunity for an Early Career Teacher to begin their teaching career in a high-performing and supportive environment, with a strong emphasis on staff development and student achievement.
The Role:
* Teaching RE across KS3 and KS4 (with potential for KS5 as you develop)
* Delivering engaging and thought-provoking lessons
* Encouraging critical thinking, discussion, and respect for diverse perspectives
* Supporting students to achieve strong academic outcomes
* Completing your ECT induction within a structured and supportive framework

The Ideal Candidate:
* Achieved or on track to achieve QTS (ECT)
* Degree in Religious Education, Theology, Philosophy, or a related subject
* Strong subject knowledge and passion for RE
* Ability to engage students in meaningful discussion and learning
* Keen to develop and grow within a high-performing school
