Tradewind Recruitment Liverpool are currently seeking a committed and versatile Humanities Teacher to join a well-regarded secondary school in South Liverpool. This is a full-time position starting after the Easter break, offering a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive and collaborative Humanities department.

This role is suited to a qualified teacher with experience delivering the UK curriculum across subjects such as History, Geography and/or Religious Education at Key Stages 3 and 4.

The Role:

Teach Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4 (e.g. History, Geography, RE)

Deliver engaging and well-structured lessons in line with the UK national curriculum

Prepare students for GCSE examinations where applicable

Monitor, assess and report on student progress

Contribute to curriculum planning and wider school activities

The Ideal Candidate:

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent

Has experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school

Strong subject knowledge in at least one Humanities specialism

Demonstrates a passion for engaging students in Humanities subjects

Effective classroom management and organisational skills
