VNA Education is working in partnership with an excellent secondary school in Newham to appoint a skilled and passionate Teacher of Design & Technology on an ongoing basis.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a DT specialist to join a well-resourced department within a school known for strong leadership, high expectations and positive student culture.

The Role

* Deliver high-quality DT teaching across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)

* Teach within a structured, well-sequenced curriculum

* Inspire creativity, problem-solving and technical excellence

* Contribute to a collaborative and forward-thinking department

* Use assessment to drive progress and high-quality outcomes

* Support students to develop practical, transferable and design skills

The candidate

* Qualified Design & Technology teacher (QTS)

* Strong subject knowledge (Product Design, Resistant Materials, Graphics or similar)

* Confident classroom practitioner with high expectations of behaviour and achievement

* Passionate about inclusive, engaging and practical learning

* Reflective and committed to professional development

* Clear commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
