Tactical Procurement Manager Wolverhampton - Hybrid
The Tactical Procurement Manager is a key role within our Procurement function, accountable for the delivery and SQD performance of key suppliers within the Engineered Items and Electronics Commodity for Actuation Systems, Wolverhampton.
The role will also involve coordinating a team of buyers to drive the delivery performance of the suppliers.

As Tactical Procurement Manager, you'll adopt a strong focus on leadership, accountability and development, alongside ability to prioritise workload and strong time management skills.
You will be empowered and accountable to drive the business forward, owning and resolving issues, driving improvement and communicating progress to senior stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for the delivery performance of suppliers in the Engineered Items and Electronics Commodity for Safran Actuation, Wolverhampton Coordinate a team of buyers to ensure parts are delivered on time to the required quality standards Drive suppliers to improve delivery performance Influence and Engage key Stakeholders to resolve complex supplier related delivery issues and improvement opportunities Collaborate with and drive suppliers to expedite key deliveries and mitigate delivery commitment slips Collaborate with Commodity Leads, Account Managers and Actuation Commodity Managers teams to support the overall product family strategy and the required steps in order to achieve such strategy Work closely with the Tactical Focals to coordinate and prioritise issues to align with the site's financial and delivery responsibilities Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers Regular reporting of key KPIs on suppliers and plan to close out on gaps Regular reporting and presenting to senior internal stakeholders on key tactical issuesWhat you'll bring:
Demonstrable background in tactical procurement within a manufacturing environment Driven and pro-active, with a strong desire to develop solutions to complex issues Accountability and ownership of delivery issues with desire to maintain current commitments and Strong organisation skills and agility, with the ability to manage multiple priorities Experience of leading teams desirable Strong communicator, with relevant stakeholders at all levels, to drive issue resolution and influence key decision making Problem solving skills Ability to multi task Ability to utilise data to analyse trends to manage supplier pro-actively Travel: 20-30%, both in UK and internationally
