Job Summary: The Systems Officer plays a vital role in supporting the financial and administrative functions of Praxis Care by managing and maintaining data systems related to Housing Benefit (HB), Supporting People (SP) income, and the Outcomes Management System (OMS). The post holder is responsible for processing and proactively managing income information for individuals supported by Praxis Care by liaising with internal teams and external stakeholders, particularly the Northern Ireland Housing Executive (NIHE). The Systems Officer will provide administrative support for the OMS system, responds to user queries, tests updates, and reports system issues. The post requires effective use of IT tools including Excel and other data systems to manage information accurately, conduct quality checks, and maintain organised records. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential to liaise effectively across departments, meet deadlines, and contribute to service delivery improvements. Key Responsibilities: Develop, maintain and update internal excel/other databases on a timely basis. This will involve developing spreadsheets, data entry, ensuring information is recorded accurately, conducting quality checks, extracting information and following up on any discrepancies Compile, analyse, and provide reports and documents to meet internal and external requirements using a range of IT applications including MS Word, Excel, and other IT systems on time and with accuracy Collate and return reports to NIHE ensuring that reporting deadlines are adhered to using NIHEs systems. This includes checking information from operations and producing biweekly, quarterly and annual reports To be aware of and act in accordance with Praxis Care Health and safety policy and conduct all activities in a manner which is safe to all staff and the people we support.
